‘Healthy moms equal healthy babies': Children's National offers maternal health care

The new DC Mother-Baby Wellness Program at Children’s National Hospital lets mothers receive medical, social and mental health support in the same place where their babies get checkups. The director said that while women sometimes don’t prioritize their own health care appointments, “we know that they will bring their babies to see their pediatrician.” News4’s Eun Yang reports.
